A Catholic Priest, Reverend Dr. Christian Nwatalari, has joined the race for the presidential ticket under the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 general elections, saying he would build a viable Nigeria that everyone would be proud to call their own.
Nwatalari told journalists in Enugu, yesterday, that his desire was borne out of the need to expand the country’s capacity for development, security and build bridges for lasting peace and unity.
His words: “I am running for those who long for Nigeria to be secure and safe, where our children will be safe and secured to go to any school of their choice without the threat of kidnapping, harassment or trouble.
“I will ensure a country where the streets will be free of crime and criminals and for those who believe that homes, livestock and businesses should be free from harassment, trouble, destruction and threat.”
“I am running for those who long for Nigeria to have uninterrupted power supply, using our own natural resources and partnerships that will enable Nigeria to be an African leader of green and environmentally-friendly technologies.”
