…Anambra has no laid-down agreement on zoning
A Chieftan and aspirant of the All Progressive Congress APC, in the November 8th 2025 governorship election in Anambra State, Sir Paul Chukwuma says he knows the issues, and have the mental capacity them if fix them if given the opportunity to serve.

Chukwuma while briefing Journalists in preparation ahead of the next year gubernatorial election in the state on Saturday at his country home Umueri, revealed that Anambra has no laid-down agreement on the rotation of power among the senatorial zones in the state for the governorship seat.
Speaking on education, Chukwuma who is the Pro-Chancellor Olivia University Bujumbura Burundi said the situation, particularly, in public primary and secondary schools at the rural areas has reached a dilapidated stage where students no longer stay comfortably to study.
He noted that those pushing the zoning narrative as the election gets underway in the state were only doing so to hoodwink sentimental politicians, stating that candidates from other zones have always contested elections in the state during the governorship elections, irrespective of where APGA may have decided to zone the governorship slot.
The APC Chieftan said qualitative education, food security, conducive environment for local and foreign investors, job creation, aggressive fight against insecurity, health and connecting the State to the center (Abuja) through the APC platform will be his major areas of concentration, if given the opportunity to governed Anambra.
He bemoaned what he described as the terrible state of affairs in Anambra under Governor Chukwuma Soludo and said he possesses a clear vision of the issues in the Anambra polity and how to steer the state away from its present governance deficits.
He lamented that civil servants are presently not smiling in the state, while the security of lives and properties is no longer guaranteed. He said traders and the organised private sector were being overtaxed in an inhuman manner, while there is a dearth of human capital development in Anambra.
On the issue of insecurity, the former national auditor of APC said Security should be the number one priority of every serious government. We must have community intelligent system that works hand in hand with the police and other security agencies.
According to Chukwuma, I will run all-inclusive government where every Anambra citizen will be a beneficiary from the dividend of democracy.
” I want to be a governor the media will be proud of, I want to be a governor that will be available at all time, I want to be a governor that will listen to the people, and I want to be a governor that will provide a qualitative education for all residents of the State irrespective of tribe, ethic and region affiliations.
“My government will not be a one-man jacket, therefore, I appeal to you media to come out in full and support my ambition to enable me address the above mentioned challenges in the state,” Sir Chukwuma concluded.
” I will tackle unemployment and be fair and just in our distribution of state resources. And shun nopotisy in government administration.
” Food security is important and implementation of minimum wage and create a good environment for investors and collaboration with private sector.
” The issue of insecurity is not rocket science. There will be proper mapping and data that will serve as a unique identifyer and proper identification of houses by knowing the owner and occupants. It requires serious efforts that require all stakeholders. The data of commercial drivers
“I’ve presented myself for the service of the people with a clear-cut blueprint on how to turn around the state in a positive light. My administration will do everything, including the provision of security within the ambit of the law, shunning every element of nepotism and adopting a holistic approach to security issues in the state,” he stated.
