Singer Innocent Idibia, known as 2Baba, has said he no longer wants to seek trouble, days after reports of a confrontation involving his wife at an Abuja nightclub.
Speaking in Pidgin English while performing at an event over the weekend, the veteran artist told the audience that recent experiences had taught him a lesson.
“Going forward, I don decide not to dey look for trouble again, I don hear am…” he said.
The comment followed the circulation of videos showing 2Baba and Natasha Osawaru in an apparent confrontation during the opening of 90s Lounge in Abuja.
Social media reports claimed Natasha arrived at the venue seeking to speak with the singer after difficulty reaching him. The exact circumstances of the incident remain unclear, with conflicting accounts circulating online.
2Baba did not directly address the nightclub reports or the state of his relationship with Natasha in his remarks. The comments have nonetheless fuelled public discussion about the couple’s situation.
