Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike says 60,000 mothers have benefited from free delivery and antenatal services since its introduction across the state by the Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration.

Dr. Obidike disclosed this when the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of JEZCO Group of Companies, Chief Joseph Ezeokafor, led stakeholders in Ekwulobia, Aguata Local Government Area, to inspect projects being delivered by the Solution Government at the General Hospital Ekwulobia.
Dr. Obidike recalled the hospital’s state of dilapidation before Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s intervention and stated that the Soludo administration is building five General Hospitals in the Anambra North Senatorial District.
He maintained that the Ekwulobia General Hospital is now well-equipped, and it’s staff has been beefed up with the deployment of four qualified medical doctors and more nurses to attend to patients who were recruited in the last medical personnel recruitment process.
Dr. Obidike thanked Chief Ezeokafor and stakeholders for visiting the hospital and witnessing the Soludo administration’s good work.
