Kayode Egbetokun has taken up the reins as the 22nd Inspector General of Police (IGP), succeeding Usman Baba.
ANN reports that in an official Handing/Taking Over Ceremony held today, Wednesday, at the Louis Edet House in Force Headquarters, Abuja, Baba formally handed over the responsibilities and authority of the police force to Egbetokun.
Recall that Egbetokun’s appointment was officially recognized and celebrated on Tuesday, as he was decorated by Vice President Kashim Shettima at the State House.
