Anambra Lawmaker Thanks God For Election Victory As Ezeokafor Dedicates Chapel Built By Hon. Jude Akpua

The Deputy Majority Leader of Anambra State House of Assembly and member representing Njikoka Two Constituency, Hon. Dr. Jude Akpua on Saturday held a thanksgiving mass over his election at his residence in Abba community.

Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Paulinus Ezeokafor who celebrated the mass, thanked God for the victory of Akpua. He urged members of the Anambra state house of assembly to ensure that their acts in the parliament are in the interest of the masses.

Ezeokafor while dedicating St. Jude’s Chapel of Adoration built by the lawmaker said prayer is the key and secret to success. He commended
Akpua for building the prayer house urging other to emulate such act.

The celebrant, Dr. Akpua, who thanked all that gathered to celebrate with him, said the election he won was by the grace of God and support of all his constituents, and promised not to disappoint the mandate of the people.

Speaking in an interview Akpua who expressed gratitude to all who made his vicory possible said to whom much is given, much is expected.

“I will do my best not to disappoint my people. As a strong catholic, i believe in the power of God which is why i built this chapel. Prayers can do everything. Anybody who goes into this chapel will have their prayers answered. And i pray that God will continue to bless and protect us all.

” Ndi Njikoka two constituency have made a very good choice by voting me and i want to assure and promise them that i will not disappoint. Am born to serve and i have the enthusiasm. I have been nursing that intreast before now and God has giving us that mandate because this victory came from God and we will continue to praise and bless his name.

Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtoo Udeze and the member representing Njikoka One constituency Hon. Chidiebere Ibemeka while speaking to reporters assured ndi Anambra that they will live up to the oath they took promising not to disappoint the mandate and trust of the people.

“We are out to serve and it is by God grace that we where choosen. The 8th assembly will be an improved version of the 7th assembly. We will join hands to better Anambra state”.

Anambra State APGA Chairman, Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, Dr. Chinedu Umeadi, Hon. Chimezie Ezeamama, Hon. Daniel Ikechukwu Okoro, Chief Frank Nwaokike, Chief Emeka Ofoedu, Dr. Obi Ogbolu and Mr. Ikechukwu Ogbo In their seperate interviews prayed that God will give Akpua the grace to serve well.

“Hon. Jude Akpua is a man of patience, a unifier, humble and is God fearing and has touched peoples lives. We wish and want him to do well. The expectations are high and we believe he will go far politically. Leadership comes from God and God has destined his journey and this is just the beginning and we believe that he will go national”.
