The Transition Committee Chairman of Awka North Local Government Area, Hon. ThankGod Anago has handed over security gadgets and motorcycles to Ugbene Community to improve the security of the area.
Anago while commending an Indigene of the community, Chief Fidelis Nweke, for donating the gadgets, charged the security men to collaborate Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s efforts in tackling insecurity and returning peace to every part of Anambra State.
The Awka North Mayor maintained that security of life and property remains top agenda of his administration as effort is being made to upgrade and improve the security architecture of the Local Government Area.
The traditional ruler of Ugbene, Igwe Sampson Chimaka commended the Anambra State Government for the giant strides it has recorded so far in infrastructural development.
