Akuluouno: Soludo, Obi, Ezeokenwa Calls For More Investments In Anambra

Anambra indigenes has been urges to return home and tap into the wealth of opportunities available in the state.

ANN reports that Professor Chukwuma Soludo made the call during the official groundbreaking ceremony of the construction site of Oakville Millennium City project Awka.

Soludo who was represented by Chief of Staff. Mr. Enerst Ezeajughi added that Anambra is currently the best state for investment opportunities due to its tight security network and enabling ground for businesses.

Unveiling the Millennium City construction site, the Governor commended the Think-Home Development and Realtors Limited team (owners of Oakville Millennium City) led by its Group CEO, Engr. Machiavelli Chidi Okafor, for the initiative to return home and invest.

He further encouraged Ndi Anambra at home and in the diaspora to invest in the opportunities that Oakville infrastructure has provided in the state and support their plan to turn Anambra into a smart city.

National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa,

Commissioner for lands, Prof. Affomze Amucheazi,  former Governor of Anambra State Mr. Peter Obi and the representative of Shell, Uche Ozoemena in their seperate speeches commended Oakvilla for championing the think home philosophy, urging others in diaspora to emulate such steps.

The Chief Executive Officer of Oakville Engr. Chidi Okafor in his address said that the estate is the first and in the state that is currently designed with an underground drainage system.

“Anambra is unprecedented and such that has never been experienced before and Oakvilla is in line with the vision of Governor Chukwuma Soludo towards creating a smart city where our people will love and desire to stay. 

“Oakvilla has assembled a team of professionals who have proven themselves in various field of infrastructural development with the aim of creating an estate with uftra-modem facilities that are comparable to what is obtainable in the western world. 

“Soludo’s government has picked a keen interest in giving ndi Anambra a befitting state capital they will be proud of. The new government house, the Solution Fun City, Awka 2.0 and the numerous other projects, particularly road infrastructures that are traversing the length and breadth of the state are a testament.

“With the capacity this administration has demonstrated, ndi Anambra can now conveniently key into the Aku Luo Uno mantra. Today’s event is a response to that call and am aware that more of our people both in the country and in diaspora are pulling resources together to bring investments home. 

” Oakvilla has a high-powered network of subscribers which includes the CHEVRON group (led by Chief Uzo Nwosu), the SHELL group (led by Uche Ozoemena), and the LNG, NNPC and other professionals from various walks of life including Ndi Anambra in diaspora”. Okafor stated.
