Orumba South TC Chairman Commends Peaceful Elections In Isulo, Ogbunka Umuchukwu Communities

The Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South Local Government Area, Prince Neville Uchendu has effectively overseen peaceful town union elections in Isulo, Ogbunka, and Umuchukwu towns respectively.

Angel Network News reports that the elections were conducted according to each town’s constitution, adhering strictly to the principles of fair play and justice.

In his address at the various communities in Orumba South where the town union elections were held, Prince Uchendu called for a peaceful and transparent process, emphasizing the importance of democratic values in community development which he described as one of the major aspects of Governor Soludo’s transformation agenda.

He congratulated the newly elected Presidents-General, Messrs Ebenezer Eze (Isulo), Ikechukwu Chukwubueze (Ogbunka) and Emeka Adinchezor who was reelected for Umuchukwu as well as their executive and urged them to be true representatives of Governor Soludo’s purposeful administration in their various communities by mobilizing maximum support for the government.

Prince Uchendu advised the newly elected town union officials, especially the Presidents-General, not to be in confrontation with the traditional rulers but to work in tandem with them in order to move their communities forward.
