President Bola Tinubu has depsrted Abuja, to Owerri, the Imo State capital, to participate in the second-term inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodinma.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), declaredUzodimma as winner of the November 11, 2023 gubernatorial election in Imo state.
He is expected to be inaugurated at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, in Owerri.
While in Owerri, President Tinubu will inaugurate some projects including the upgraded stadium road.
Earlier, President Tinubu laid the wreath on the tombs of some fallen soldiers at an event held on Monday morning, at the Eagle Square in Abuja, as part of activities climaxing the celebration of the Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
