The member representing Ogbaru one constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly Hon. Nobel Chukwunonso Igwe has emerge as the Deputy Minority Leader.
Anambra Assembly Speker Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze at plenary on Tuesday made the announcement.
Angel Network News reports that Hon. Igwe replaced the member who represented Onitsha North one constituency, Hon. Douglas Egbuna who was removed in court last year and have been replaced by Hon. Justice Azuka.
Hon. Igwe before seconding motion for adjourment expressed gratitud to the Minorty caucus for finding him worthy. He pledged to discharge his duty honourably.
Hon. Nobel Igwe also sponsored the bill for a law to provide for the right of female person to inherite and own property and for other related matters connected therewith.
The ‘Female Persons Right of Inheritance of Property Bill, 2023’ was read for the first time.
