Anambra State House of Assembly has re-appoint Mr. Okechukwu Nwobi as the acting Clerk after his tenue which started on the 15th of August 2023 elapsed on Thursday 15th February 2024.
The member representing Ekwusigo constituency and Majority Leader Hon. Ikenna Ofodeme while quoting section 21:2 of the Anambra state house of assembly service commission 2021, moved a motion for the reappointment of Mr. Okechukwu Nwobi as the acting Clerk, the motion was seconded by Hon. Patrick Okafor the member representing Onitsha North two constituency.
Angel Network News reports that other lawmakers through a voice vote supported the reappointment of Mr. Okechukwu Nwobi as the acting Clerk of the 8th assembly.
