Njikoka Stakeholders Commend Soludo For Ongoing Construction Of Oyeagu Abagana-Nimo Road

Stakeholders from Njikoka constituency have conducted an inspection tour at Oyeagu Abagana-Nimo road after which they commended the Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his giant strides.

Angel Network News reports that during the tour, they praised Anambra State Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo for the high-quality road construction in the area and across the state.

According to the Stakeholders, the inspection is an opportunity to evaluate the ongoing road construction efforts.

Speaking after the inspection, the member representing Njikoka two Constituency at the Anambra State House of Assemble Hon. Jude Akpua praised the Governor for his dedication to enhancing the state’s infrastructure, citing the Oyeagu Abagana-Nimo road project as an evidence of the administration’s commitment to improving connectivity and fostering socioeconomic development in the state.

Hon. Akpua who is the Deputy Majority Leader of the 8th assembly, emphasized the significance of the project in promoting economic growth and improving the lives of Njikoka residents, expressing satisfaction with the progress and quality of work, and underscored the road’s priority for the people of Njikoka.

In their remarks, Honourable Ibemeka, representing Njikoka Constituency One, and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Retired Air Vice Marshal Ben Chiobi, lauded the governor’s compassion and his fulfillment of promises to the people of Anambra, expressing confidence that the road would soon be ready for commissioning.

The Transition Committee Chairman of Njikoka Council Area, Barrister Clem Aguiyi, traditional rulers of Abagana and Nimo, Igwe Mbamalu Okeke and Igwe Maxi Oliobi respectively, praised Governor Soludo for breaking the trend of unfulfilled promises regarding the road, urging the project contractor to expedite the work.

Contributing, Anambra Central Zonal Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Mr. Ndukaku Okoye, and Njikoka Council Area Chairman of the Party, Pharmacist Chinedu Anaekwe, encouraged the people of Njikoka to support the governor’s administration in appreciation of his efforts.

Also, the President General of Nimo Town Development Union, Engineer Dan Zeelunjo Anakpe, and Vice President General of Abagana, Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo, advocated for Governor Soludo’s re-election, highlighting the road’s potential to enhance transportation, stimulate commercial activities, and bolster the area’s prosperity.

The contractor handling the project, Engr. Mohammed Natraji, assured that the 5.1-kilometer road would be completed the following month, expressing gratitude to the governor for entrusting them with the task.
