…lawmakers sign condolence register
Anambra State House of Assembly at plenary on Tuesday observe one minute silence for the former Deputy Speaker Late Rt. Hon, Harford Oseke.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Anambra Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze who presided the sitting, notified the demise of late Oseke who was the Majority Leader of the 5th Assembly and Deputy Speaker of the 6th Assembly (2011-2019).
Rt. Hon. Udeze described the death of Oseke who represented Awka South two constituency as a rude shock.
“He was a dedicated and committed public servant and a legislator per excellence. He was a good family man and leaved a good life and was an impactful community leader.
” Umuawulu, Awka South LGA and Anambra State at large will surely miss ‘Ebubedike’ dearly’. Udeze said in his tribute.
According to the family of Oseke, the burial ceremony of the late lawmaker is as follows:
Service of songs on 22nd October 2024 at his compound in Umuawulu.
Valedictory session on 23rd October, at the Anambra State House of Assembly and final interment on the 24th of October.
ANN recall that Oseke suddenly collapsed and died on August 19th 2024, leaving behind his wife and children.
