…urge authorities to implement effective measures to prevent future attacks
The member representating Awka North and South Federal Constituency, Prof. Ọby Lilian Orogbu has strongly condemn the brutal killing of youths in Nibo, Anambra State.
Orogbu while reacting to the killings stated that the insecurity in Anambra State has reached catastrophic levels, and it is imperative that the state government and security agencies take immediate and decisive action
“The senseless loss of life has left me deeply saddened, and my heart bleeds for the families of the deceased and the leadership of the Nibo Town Union.
“The escalating insecurity in Anambra State has reached catastrophic levels, and it is imperative that the state government and security agencies take immediate and decisive action. I demand that they prioritize security above politics, recognizing that the safety and well-being of Ndị Anambra supersede all other considerations.
“To address this crisis, I urge the authorities to implement effective measures to prevent future attacks and protect vulnerable communities. This includes swift investigation and prosecution of culprits, enhanced security presence in affected areas, and support for affected families and communities.
“The lives of our citizens are precious, and we cannot continue to lose them to senseless killings. I demand justice and accountability for the victims and their families. The people of Nibo and Anambra State deserve peace and security, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that.
“Let us unite to mourn the loss of these young lives, demand justice and accountability, and work towards a safer, more secure Anambra State for all. To the families of the deceased, I offer my deepest condolences. I stand with them and the entire Nibo community in this dark hour.
” We will not be silenced, and we will not be intimidated. We demand action now to protect Ndị Anambra.
