Ezeokafor Blesses Medical Facilities at St. Joseph’s Specialist Hospital, Adazi Nnukwu

The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Awk, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor has bless equipments at St. Joseph’s Specialist Hospital, Adazi Nnukwu.

Some of the facilities blessed by the Bishop includes: eye clinic facilities, dental laboratory clinic, ultra sound and ECG, x-ray, main theatre, casket boutique, Intensive Care Unit among others

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that 

the blessing of the facilities was greeted with joy amidst hope that with the facilities, better health delivery would be achieved.

The Bishop, in his remarks, appreciated the hospital’s Administrative Director, Rev. Fr Kenneth Okafor, and the entire members of staff, for being committed in ensuring that the facilities were best put to use for the purpose they were meant for.

The hospital’s Administrative Director, Fr. Okafor, while speaking, noted that the need for the new facilities, resource equipment and units needed in health care, was to continue to gain the confidence of the people, as it concerned their health care.

Fr. Okafor who noted that this was a long term objective that had been achieved, said that some of the facilities bought were not seen in many hospitals and that they had upgraded most of their facilities to the latest versions so as to give the best health care to the community.

The director also spoke on the digital x-ray, the renovation of the mortuary and theatre, noting that they were aimed at helping to maintain standards, especially since the hospital was aiming to be one of the very best, not just in Anambra, but in Nigeria.

For his part, the Chancellor of the Diocese, Rev. Fr Charles Ndubisi, thanked the Management of the hospital over what he called an expensive investment in the purchase of the new health equipment to aid doctors and nurses in better health service delivery to the people.

The Chancellor also thanked the Management of the Hospital, particularly, for the installation of more solar panels to boost power generation in the hospital.

Fr. Ndubisi prayed that the facilities would be used in healing all who came to the hospital.
