The CEO of B -Lord Group, Chief Linus Williams says the impact of late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah will forever be profound.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Chief Williams in his tribute to Dr. Ubah during the candle light procession on Saturday at Emmaus House, Awka, said the legacies of the distinguished Senator will resonate in the life of many.
While narrating Ifeanyi Ubah’s kindness, B-lord revealed that despite the fact that he never met Ubah in person, he intervend when he was arrested.
In his words “I never had the privilege of meeting Dr. Ubah in person but that does not diminish the remarkable role he played in my life at a critical moment.
” My first encounter with him, came during a time i was wrongly accused, arrested and labeled in an unjust and untrue manner.
” It was a time of uncertainty, fear and confusion, i felt the weight of a world that turned its back on me.
“It was a divine intervention. my brother Johnbosco reached out to Dr. Ubah, a man i have never met, to share my
predicament without any expectation, Ubah acted without hesitation or questioning of any assurances.
” Dr. Ubah quickly stepped in on my behalf even though he didn’t know me.
” Dr. Ubah immediately called the Commissioner of Police who was a close friend and without knowing the full details, Ubah made it clear that i was his brother and one of his strongest supporters.
” This act of faith and believe is something that i will never forget.
” Dr. Ubah went a step further wrote a letter with his company’s letter head to the Commissioner of Police, vouching for me.
” His intervention was nothing short of miraculous. It was because of his direct
involvement, unwavering support and his
believe in justice that i was released almost immediately.
” Without Ubah’s intervention, i dont know where i would have been or how long it would have taking for truth to be heard.
” A week before his untimely passing, we had plan to meet, and i hoped to express my heartfelt gratitude to the man who believed in me without question. A man who extended his hands, when i needed it the most, and i have planned to thank him im person for his kindness, courage.
” It breaks my heart that i never had the chance to do so. I will forever guide his memory and the lesson he impacted by standing up for what is right, supporting others without expectation and beliving in justice.
” He was not just a business man and a politician but a beacon of hope for many. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate his life. His spirit will continue to inspire us’.
