Tansian University, Umunya, has been ranked as the best regional university in the nation by the National Scholars Institute (NSI).

this follows recent statement from the institution indicating that admission into its various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is still open.
According to the National Scholars Institute report, “Tansian University is the best regional university in the areas of delivering quality education, competent lecturers and adequately equipped infrastructure for easy learning.
This was the outcome of the visit by a delegation of National Scholars Institute, the organised body that has been touring the South Eastern Private Universities, when they called on the Vice Chancellor of the University,Prof Eugene Nwadialor.
“The Corporate Institution has demonstrated that it is pertinent for universities to inculcate the ability and capacity of ensuring adequacy in learning environment”
It further noted that building a conducive environment for students would definitely engender positivity in all the facets of educational activities.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof Nwadialor on behalf of the entire management of the institution, expressed his profound appreciation for the scorecard.
While stating that it would spur it to do more in fostering more quality education to the students, he charged the delegation to continue to be dispassionate in delivering judgement towards rating of standards of universities.
He used the opportunity to announce and invite them to the special convocation ceremony of the university coming up by the end of March, 2025.
