Following his release, he had moved back to US, from where he had made more statements about Burna Boy, further noting that he had retracted the apology he had initially tendered to the musician.
Reports from his lawyer, Adeyanju Deji revealed that he was recently apprehended in Owerri.
It was gathered that the police picked him up while at his show in the city of Owerri, Imo state.
Deji Adeyanju wrote:
“BREAKING: Our client Speed Darlington a.k.a AKPI has been arrested by the Nigerian police in Owerri at his show upon return to Nigeria.”
