The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, has commended President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for appointing Hon. Mark Okoye as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the South East Development Commission (SEDC).

Ezeokenwa, the APGA Chairman stated that the appointment underscores the President’s commitment to inclusive governance, following the recent appointment of Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, a member of APGA’s Board of Trustees, as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
Barr. Ezeokenwa, who has consistently championed the need for the SEDC to accelerate development across the South East in the wake of the devastating civil war, praised President Tinubu for his recognition of competence and merit.
He described these appointments as a reflection of the President’s progressive vision and inclusive leadership.
The APGA National Chairman expressed confidence that these strategic appointments will bolster development in the South East while fostering collaboration among political actors for the nation’s collective growth.
Ezeokenwa affirmed APGA’s commitment to supporting the progressive policies of the APC-led government, noting that as Nigeria’s foremost progressive party, APGA remains a partner in advancing the nation’s prosperity.
He also extended his congratulations to Hon. Mark Okoye, the other executive members, and the Board of SEDC. He charged them to prioritize impactful development projects that would uplift the South East region and fulfill the commission’s mandate to the fullest.
