The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze has said that Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s giant strides in the health sector has continued to earn the State both National and Global recognitions.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Udeze in his Congratulatory Message to Governor Soludo as Anambra State clinched two awards, described the award as a true reflection of the efforts of Governor Soludo towards the transformation of the health sector in the State.
The Speaker who laid particular emphasis on the complementary role the wife of the Governor, Dr. Mrs. Nonye is playing in advancing the healthcare delivery in the State especially her free antenatal and free child delivery initiative, extolled Governor Soludo’s commitment towards achieving an improved healthcare system in the State.
Rt. Hon. Udeze enjoined the State Ministry of Health, Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency as well as stakeholders in the health sector in the State to consolidate this feat achieved by the Governor by redoubling their efforts towards the actualization of the health needs of the citizenry.
The State Number One Lawmaker, Udeze assured that the State Legislature will continue to play its part to ensure that all necessary legal framework on sustainable healthcare system in the State are provided by the House at all times.
ANN gathered that Anambra emerged best State in the South-East and overall best in Nigeria at the National Primary Healthcare Leadership Challenge.
