Orumba South Mayor ‘Azubuike’ Celebrates Christmas With Children

The Mayor of Orumba South Local Government Area, Hon. Shedrack
Azubuike, said he decided to use his ‘Nwabugo Empowerment Foundation’ to show love to others, and urged people of the area to key into the public-private-community-partnership development model of the Governor Soludo in order to speed up development of the area.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the Orumba South Mayor declared that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is the only party in the state and the local government because Governor Chukwuma Soludo has shown more love to his people by constructing over 40 percent of roads in the area, saying it would be reciprocated in 2025.

People from the 15 communities in Orumba South Local Government Area, and about a thousand school children, received 10kg bags of rice and school bags respectively during a get-together in Umunze hosted by the Mayor of the local government, Hon. Shedrack Azubuike.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, the Chairman of APGA Ward in Nawfija, Mr Victor Okoli, who commended the Hon. Azubuike for the palliative works being done by in the area, remarked that 12 out of 15 communities in the LGA have also benefited from the massive road construction by the Soludo administration, describing it as unprecedented; reason APGA will get 99 percent vote in the area in the 2025 Anambra guber election.

In their separate speeches, Woman Leader in Agbudu, Mrs Chibugo Nwankwo, and Youth Leader in Akpu Ward, Mr Ikechukwu Okeke, said the unprecedented gesture and the good works of the APGA government will give the party victory in Governor Soludo’s reelection bid.

Earlier, the Orumba South Local Government APGA Chairman, Mr Chike Nwafor, said the choice of Azubuike as Mayor of the local government still remains best decision, adding that because of the good works of the Soludo administration, 30,000 votes are a surebet for Governor Soludo in his reelection bid, even as he noted that the Governor has no serious contender for the post.

ANN gathered that other beneficiaries of Hon. Azubuike’s Christmas Largesse included, Church leaders, Ndi Igwe, Presidents-General as well as Stakeholders in the area.
