George is the only politician who has stayed with PDP Describing George as a “Lagos Big Boy”, Igbokwe said since 1999, all political heavyweights in the PDP have defected to different parties and subsequently APC except George.
While stating that George in his capacity has done well and shown beyond reasonable doubt that he is a man who can stand and withhold all forms of political crisis, Igbokwe said the Lagos Big Boy cannot continue to waste his time on acrimony. He said it is important that politicians are bold enough to admit that when someone does better than others he should be commended. He added: “Asiwaju BAT needs everybody including Bode George to forge ahead. Let the real men and women stand out in Lagos out to broker peace between Chief Bode George and Asiwaju BAT. The time to do this is now.”
