Sir. Paul Chukwuma, a leading aspirant in Anambra State All Progressives Congress (APC) upcoming Governorship primaries,
has declared himself the candidate to beat
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Sir. Chukwuma while addressing journalists in his hometown, Umueri on Thursday, maintained that the APC primaries is expected to be highly contested, but that he will emerge victorious.
Sir. Chukwuma who is the former National Auditor of APC, emphasized that the party has a constitution and is a law-abiding, stressing that the rules will be obeyed.
With his foundation membership in the party and a track record of holding important positions within the APC, Chukwuma expressed his optimism about his chances.
“I’m the person to beat in the upcoming election. As a foundation member of APC, I’m proud to have a college of aspirants in the party’s primary in Anambra.
” There are alot of speculations but am not bothered about them. I am confident that, by the grace of God, I will emerge victorious and become the governor of Anambra State.”
“My work in rejuvenating the party has started to yield results, and I’m thrilled to see a great number of ndi Anambra joining our ranks.”
” We will accommodate them because they will play their own role in making me win the general election after the primaries.
“It is God who is bringing new people into the party, and they will work for us. I have the political will to do the needful.
” I dedicate my aspiration to God and i rely on his grace and the support of APC. This are basis upon which i make catigorical statements that i will win.
” I have worked hard and still working hard for the party. I have a clear mindset and the political will.
Chukwuma also addressed recent reports about him and his company, dismissing them as a “political witch hunt.”
He vowed to fight the allegations, stating, “My image cannot be tarnished. We know the people behind this, and I’m committed to fixing the face of Anambra.”
