Nigeria Science and Technical College (NSTC) and Vision High School have emerged as top contenders, securing spots for the zonal finals of Anambra Solution Sports Initiative ANSSI qualifiers.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
NSTC’s U-18 football teams, both male and female, have qualified for the next stage after defeating St Martin’s and WEC respectively. This builds on their previous success, having finished third in the state finals of the 2024 ANSSI.
Vision High School has dominated the athletics qualifiers, securing numerous spots in the male and female U14 and U18 categories for track and field events, including discus and javelin. St Martin’s school and Queen of Angels school have also qualified in some events.
With these schools advancing to the zonal finals, Nnewi zone is set to be well-represented in the competition.
