The local government Chairman of Anaocha Local Government Area, Hon. Rome Ibekwe has commissioned newly renovated works department, housing eight offices and stores in the council’s headquarters.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
Ibekwe in his address during the commissioning, urged workers to sustain reforms in Local Governments By Voting Governor Chukwuma Soludo during the November 8th 2025 Anambra governorship election.
The Mayor challenged local government workers not to mortgage their conscience but sustain the ongoing reforms in the local government system by voting Soludo.
The local government Chairman maintained that his primary vision is to transform all sectors of the local government area which are in the footsteps of Governor Chukwuma Soludo but frowned at those who despite witnessing an end to the challenges that had been facing the local government system still decide to support candidates and political parties whose track record has negatively impacted the development of state because of monetary gains.
Chief Ibekwe revealed that the payment of workers’ salaries as at when due, promotions, regular training and retraining of staff now witnessed among the local government workforce, other projects of the Soludo administration in roads, construction of new and renovation and re-equipment of hospitals with equipments and other transformation projects of his administration in Anaocha Local Government Area are tangible evidence that must convince everyone to vote the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, again.
In her remark, the Head of Local Government Administration, Dr. Mrs Ego Okeke noted that since creation, Anambra State has not had it so good as under the Governor Soludo administration who is committed to transform and make the state reflect it’s sobriquet as light of the nation.
