Anaocha Mayor Donates School Bags, Other Learning Materials To Pupils, Students

The local government Chairman of Anaocha area, Hon. Rome Ibekwe has donated over ten thousand (10,000) school bags to students and pupils in the council area.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the bags contain exercise books, mathematical sets, pencils and pens.

Addressing the pupils and students, Chief. Ibekwe said education as the bedrock and key to every success, and should not be neglected which was why Governor Chukwuma Soludo introduced free education in the state to give every child opportunity to soar higher in life no matter their background and stated their willingness to support the Governor at the grassroots level.

The Mayor further challenged the students to continue to work hard, be of good character, and avoid behaviors that will mar their future.

The donations were given out to all the students in Anaocha council area starting with a flag-off at Migrants Farmers Primary School, Neni, Flora Azikiwe Secondary School, Neni and Community Secondary School Adazi Nnukwu

The Principal of Flora Azikiwe Secondary School, Neni, Mrs Stella Ezenwankwo on behalf of the other school heads expressed their profound gratitude to the mayor and prayed God to continue to bless Ibekwe abundantly.

Some of the students who spoke to the press: Chibuzor Chiekezie, Chinecherm Muolozie and Chidera Eze thanked Hon. Ibekwe for investing positively in their lives and promised to study hard to excel in the academics.

The entourage who accompanied Ibekwe
are: the Chairman, All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the council area, Chief Anthony Ugoji, his woman leader, Mrs Ije Sunny-Egbuna and councilors in the council.
