Speaking to journalists in an interview after casting his vote, commended INEC for the timely commencement of the exercise and advised them to sustain it to ensure a peaceful, free, fair and credible election at the end of the day.

“I just performed my civic responsibility to make our democracy robust. You can see people gathering and I have gone round and everywhere is peaceful and calm. We know that the election will be concluded peacefully.

“I have to commend INEC for their efforts so far. INEC officials were here at the Central Civic Centre, Abatete, from where they moved to various polling units.

” I advise them to sustain this that they have started so that at the end of the day, we will return glory to God that it’s peaceful. Let the best candidate win,” he said.
