Mr Macaroni on Friday issued a scathing public criticism of President Bola Tinubu and the National Assembly, accusing both of failing to protect citizens following the abduction of students from a Catholic school in Niger State.
In a series of posts shared on social media, the entertainer accused the president of falling short of his own promises on security, declaring: “You said any President who could not protect the people is incompetent! Any school child that has been abducted is a result of your incompetence.”
The remarks came hours after gunmen invaded St. Mary’s Private Catholic Secondary School in Agwara LGA, kidnapping students and staff in a nighttime raid that has reignited anxiety over worsening insecurity in the country.
In another message, the entertainer directed harsh criticism at the Senate, describing lawmakers as ineffective in carrying out their oversight responsibilities. “My goodness! You people are so useless!” the post read, adding that the Senate was instead “swearing allegiance to the President” rather than holding the executive accountable.
The critic further lamented that lawmakers “can’t even summon the President and ask questions on behalf of the people of Nigeria that you ought to be representing,” accusing them of prioritising personal benefits over national duty.
