FC Barcelona are reportedly preparing for a sweeping squad overhaul at the end of the 2025–26 season, with Robert Lewandowski — along with three other first-team regulars — expected to depart the club.
Despite turning in another strong season with 27 goals in 34 matches — the second-highest total in La Liga — Lewandowski is said to be allowed to leave when his contract expires, ending a high-profile stint at the Camp Nou.
Joining Lewandowski in the exit queue are defender Ronald Araujo, centre-back Andreas Christensen and youth-product Marc Casado — all of whom could leave as free agents or be moved on to make way for a squad rebuild.
Club insiders say the decision reflects a strategic shift under coach Hansi Flick, who aims to “renew and strengthen” both Barcelona’s defensive core and attacking options ahead of the 2026–27 campaign. .
