The Association of Heads of Federal Establishments in Anambra State has raised concerns over deteriorating conditions at the Engr. Ebele Ofunneamaka Okeke Federal Secretariat Complex.
Chairperson Dr. Mrs. Blessing Ogbonna, speaking at a meeting held at the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) office in Awka, listed challenges including lack of electricity, water supply, functional toilets, and environmental sanitation. She called for urgent government intervention.

Members of the sickle cell community in Anambra have petitioned the Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese, Alexander Ibezim, alleging neglect of their welfare.
The petition, submitted by Mrs. Aisha Edwards Maduagwu, Director of the Sickle Cell Orphanage and Underprivileged Home, Agulu, also raised concerns about disruptions at Alpha Schools, Agulu due to daily evangelism activities within the school premises.

Governor Soludo has reopened the New Motorcycle Spare Parts Market (Nkwo Nnewi) after a week-long closure over low compliance with the ban on Monday sit-at-home.
