President Bola Tinubu has strongly condemned the recent killings in Plateau and Kaduna states, describing the attacks as barbaric and pledging that those responsible will be brought to justice.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Tinubu expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and directed security agencies to intensify efforts to apprehend the perpetrators.
“I condemn in the strongest terms the senseless and barbaric killings in Plateau and Kaduna states,” he said. “Those responsible for these heinous acts will not go unpunished.”
The president assured the affected communities of the federal government’s commitment to restoring peace and security, urging residents to remain calm while security operations continue.
The attacks have once again highlighted the persistent insecurity in parts of north-central Nigeria. No group has yet claimed responsibility.
