The All Progressives Congress (APC) has affirmed that there is nothing like progressives working together in Anambra State as propagated by Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
The Governor had always been projecting that he is in good working relationship with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC at the centre, hence progressives working together.
But clarifying this misconception in Awka during the inauguration of the State Officers of the party and Head of Directorates, the State Chairman of APC, Senator Emmanuel Anosike said the concept of progressives working together does not exist in the state.
“There is nothing like progressives working together. You don’t just rush to Abuja and take pictures with a celebrity like Mr President, just to create false impression. However, if you feel that Progressives are Working Together, leave your party and join APC; contest election under APC and we will support you. Our hands are open because we have only one APC across the Federation.
“Again, if you are working for Tinubu, you should be talking to us; not the more you look, the less you see kind of game. Besides, you cannot be working together when you hijacked all local government positions in the state.”
On the preparedness of the party in the forthcoming general election 2027, Senator Anosike said APC in Anambra state is deploying her full arsenal to win every contested position in the election.
According to him, the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu’s administration is visible across every state in the South East including Anambra State.
“We are going to send our first eleven to National Assembly Abuja to work with Mr President. If you are working with Mr President, you cannot come to National Assembly with a different party. You cannot be an attachie to somebody.
“APC is APC across every state of the federation including FCT. So, be proud to be a member of APC because there is nowhere in the South East that you won’t have the feel of Mr President,” he said.
While calling on every Anambrarian that believes in the ideals of APC to join the party, Senator Anosike urged every APC member that wants to contest election, to come out in full force.
He however maintained that many people have already registered for membership of the party in the state.
“APC is prepared for next year to show capacity to Mr President, having party office in every ward in the state. In the next few weeks, you will hear the music of APC playing everywhere. We have all the support from party leadership in South East, Governor Hope Uzodinma, National Working Committee (NWC), National Executive Council (NEC) and Mr President, Tinubu.
“Our President is a Maradona in election while Hope Uzodinma is a Ronaldo. Thus, we are fortified on how to score goals come 2027,” Anambra APC Chairman concluded.###
