2027: Anambra Assembly Aspirant ‘Oraka’ Pledges People Oriented Representation

An Aspirant for Anambra State House of Assembly, Njikoka 2 Constituency, Hon. Nnaemeka Oraka, says his interest in the race is for a people centered agenda anchored on empowerment opportunities and human capital development initiatives.

Oraka stated this while interacting with newsmen shortly after undergoing screening staged by the Committee for House of Assembly Aspirants set up by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) at its Secretariat, Awka.

The aspirant emphasized that his people oriented development framework would also focus on infrastructure, health care and supporting policies/programmes capable of uplifting the area.

” My goal is to give a people oriented representation for the people of Njikoka 2 Constituency. I will pay special attention to the elderly in the society. I will make a place for them because they have served the nation and they deserve to be rewarded.

“So my time in the House will give Njikoka 2 constituency a lot of infrastructural development, support for the youths and people oriented approach.

“We will be continuously having town hall meetings where we will engage with the constituents, so that we will know their concerns and deliver policies that will meet their demands”

Oraka further noted that his ambition was driven by a desire to touch lives, effect positive changes and galvanise the people towards effective representation.

The Aspirant, who has been committed to humanitarian and community development interventions, gave assurance that his agenda was aimed at restoring hope and confidence to the people.

“I have done part of this job while not in the House, i have attracted a lot of developmental projects. I have attracted more than 450 Solar Street Lights during Governor Willie Obiano’s administration.

“When Soludo came in, i attracted another 450 Solar Street Lights. I did more than 60 poles donated by myself. I did a road that is more than 600 metres. These i donated to my constituents”

Commenting on the zoning arrangement in the constituency, he said ” with the prevailing circumstances, stakeholders came together in the spirit of equity and fairness and said Nimo can have it for 4 years single tenure after which Abagana takes it before it goes to Abba.
