The Idemili North Women Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Hon. Mrs. Uju Omile, has reaffirmed the commitment of women in the local government area to continue supporting the policies and programmes of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

Mrs. Omile made the declaration on Monday, August 3, 2026, when she led a delegation of APGA women from Idemili North on a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Mrs. Chinyere Esther Onyekesi, at her office in Awka.
According to the woman leader, the visit was to felicitate with the Commissioner and reaffirm the unwavering loyalty and support of Idemili North APGA women to the party and the Soludo administration.
She assured the Commissioner of the group’s continued grassroots mobilisation and active participation in advancing the government’s people-centred programmes and development agenda across the state.
Responding, the Commissioner expressed appreciation to the delegation for the visit and commended the women for their steadfast commitment to the party and the government at the grassroots.
Mrs. Onyekesi encouraged them to remain united, dedicated, and committed to promoting the ideals of the administration, noting that women remain critical partners in achieving sustainable development and ensuring the success of the Soludo administration’s transformative vision for Anambra State.
Delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the delegation, Mrs. Cordelia Abiakam expressed gratitude to the Commissioner for the warm reception accorded them and reaffirmed the resolve of Idemili North APGA women to continue supporting government initiatives at all levels.
She concluded the visit with a prayer, committing the Commissioner into God’s hands and asking Him to continue granting her divine wisdom, strength, and guidance in the discharge of her responsibilities.
