The wife of music executive Jude Okoye said Tuesday she would not enter a public defence after her name was linked to a fresh round of accusations in the long-running dispute among the P-Square brothers.
Ifeoma Okoye posted a statement on Instagram hours after singer Peter Okoye, known as Mr P, released another video episode detailing disagreements with his elder brother Jude and twin Paul over the management and ownership of assets connected to the former group.
In the episode, Peter alleged that Jude had sought to transfer rights in one of the group’s properties to Ifeoma and that he rejected the move after seeing documents bearing her name.
Responding without naming either brother, Ifeoma said she was aware of the claims circulating about her.
“I have no desire to defend myself before those who are committed to misunderstanding me. Truth does not need manipulation to prevail, and I trust God to vindicate what is right,” she wrote.
She stressed that her silence should not be read as weakness or fear and said she was leaving the matter in God’s hands. Citing the biblical story of Ananias and Sapphira, she noted that no one can deceive God, whom she called the ultimate judge who reveals falsehood and establishes truth in due time.
Ifeoma also offered a prayer for the family: “My prayer is not for judgment, but for mercy. May God bring conviction where it is needed, healing where there is brokenness, and peace where there is unrest. May He soften hardened hearts, restore what has been damaged, and lead us all into truth, humility, repentance, and His perfect love.”
Jude Okoye Also Reacts “I Handed Over to God”
Following Peter’s fresh, highly personal allegations—including a claim that Jude once threatened his life over a US property—Jude closed out his reaction on Instagram by posting, “To the Almighty God I hand over everything.”
The statement comes amid renewed public tension between Peter and Jude Okoye over the handling of P-Square’s finances, properties and affairs since the group’s split.
Entertainer Do2dtun separately warned that unresolved conflict could affect the brothers’ children and wider family circles.
