Blaqbonez Vows Court Action Against ODUMODUBLVCK Over Abuse Claims

Rapper Blaqbonez said on Tuesday he intends to take fellow artist ODUMODUBLVCK to court over allegations of sexual abuse, insisting the claims are false and that the burden of proof rests with his accuser.

In a video statement addressing their ongoing public dispute, Blaqbonez declared: “I’m taking him to court. He must prove that I sexually abused someone, and I won’t take the case lightly. I will fight till the end. If I actually did that, he would be the one taking me to court.”

The remarks come months after ODUMODUBLVCK, whose real name is Tochukwu Ojogwu, accused Blaqbonez of sexual abuse in a series of posts on X in late June. ODUMODUBLVCK also claimed that figures in the Nigerian music industry were aware of the allegations but had remained silent. He offered no evidence at the time and later reiterated that he stood by his statements.

Blaqbonez, born Emeka Akumefule and signed to Chocolate City, has consistently denied the accusations. He has described them as part of a broader campaign of harassment linked to their professional rivalry. In July, his lawyers issued a pre-action notice seeking ₦2.55 billion in damages for defamation, harassment and related claims, demanding the removal of the posts, a public apology and an injunction against further statements.

The two artists, once collaborators on tracks including “Tesla Boy,” have been locked in a public feud involving diss tracks and social media exchanges. A separate police petition filed against Blaqbonez in 2025 by a complainant identified as Jane Doe, alleging harassment and related issues, remains unresolved in the public record.
