The name Hon. Pete Ibida is no longer new in Njikoka and Anambra Political space. The dynamic political titan from Nimo Owelle has indeed paid his dues in politics.
In today’s APGA political family, Hon. Pete Ibida is a household name. APGA family cannot comfortably discuss the victory of Erudite Prof. C.C. Soludo in the 2021 Guber election without prioritizing the Ibida factor.
No doubt, Pete Ibida is considered by many political Analysts to be among the first eleven in Prof. Soludo’s team. From my observation during the last election, Ibida pulled a great stunt for Soludo. APGA Njikoka cannot boast of victory without IDE NIMO.
Haven proven his legislative dexterity in Anambra State House of Assembly, it is time to encourage IDE NIMO to give a shoot to National Assembly. There is no need emphasizing that the Nigerian 11th Assembly needs the Man with a wonderful legislative acumen.
In Anambra State House of Assembly, Ibida has shown an uncommon legislative prowess despite the limitations of State legislature under Nigerian constitution. Ibida will therefore move higher to show an uncommon representation at the National level.
Umu-Nimo, it is time to stop playing the role of political houseboy for people who’s Ancestors served our Ancestors.
We as a people must come together to promote and project our own. IDE Nimo must move to the National Assembly; let us take it as our collective project.
We must understand that in Medieval and Modern politics, power is taken and not given. I strongly believe that if we start early to do the needful and put up the necessary strategy, we shall have reason to be proud that we took part in making Nimo Owelle proud.
Indeed, I am involved in this dream; it shall be a reality.
