Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has said he is enjoying a much-needed vacation in Turkiye.
The Rivers State helmsman is in company of his Abia State counterpart, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.
This came amidst speculations that Wike might dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), following the fallout from the party’s presidential primary and the failure of its candiate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to pick him (Wike) as his running mate for the 2023 general election.
On Twitter, Wike, who shared some images, said: “Finally enjoying a much needed vacation in Turkey (Turkiye) with my brother @GovernorIkpeazu.”
Before his trip to Turkiye, Wike had hosted some politicians, including the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi, and that of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso.
