Two persons have been feared killed and many injured in a fracas between members of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) in Iyana-Iba, Ojo Local Government Area (LGA) of Lagos State.
ANN learned that the scuffle made many commuters and traders scamper for safety.
ANN gathered that the melee was due to the control of a newly created park by RTEAN members. The park is tagged Under Bridge at Iyana-Iba in Ojo.
Vehicles and other properties were destroyed by the warring factions.
In a video sighted by this news medium, a man was assaulted till he apparently became unconscious. In the same clip, personnel of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) stood and watched on casually.
An eyewitness, Demola Olatunji, said the incident has led to a closure of a part of the road, adding that calm has been restored to the area.
