15 PERSONS ARRAIGNED IN COURT OVER ILLEGAL COLLECTION OF REVENUE IN ANAMBRA

 

ANJET operations as an outfit to enforce compliance with the stipulated regulations that forbid touting, illegal revenue collection, as well as running of unauthorized private motor parks and related matters in the state.

A total of 15 persons who have been apprehended since 28/09/22 for defaulting in the areas mentioned above were arraigned at the Magistrate Court 3, Awka today. 


Out of these 15 persons who were arraigned, 8 were granted bail by His Worship C. Nonyelum after perfecting their bail conditions and as their sureties were equally available, while the remaining 7 were remanded in Amawbia prison. 

The agency (ANJET) warn touts and criminal elements in the state to repent or face the law. 

The case was adjourned to 27th of October, 2022.
