Members of Anambra State House of Assembly has mourned the death of the first republic aviation minister late Chief Mbazulike Amaechi (The boy is good)
Member representing Nnewi South 2 constituency Hon. Johnbosco Akaegbobi while seconding the motion for adjoinment informed the lawmakers of the death of Mbazulike Amaechi who according to him, died this morning.
In his words: “I will like to bring to the notice of ndi-Anambra and the 7th assembly of the peaceful transition of our illustrous son, father, grand father, nationalist and the first republic aviation minister high chief Mbazulike Amaechi who passed on in the early hours of today November 1st 2022.
Akaegbobi while consoling the family and ndi-Nnewi, prayed God to accept his soul.
The 7th assembly lead by Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor had a one minute silence on respect for late Mbazulike Amaechi.
Deputy speaker Rt. Hon. Pascal Agbodike, member representing Ihiala 2 constituency, while commiserating with the family of late
Mbazulike Amaechi said he was mentored by “The boy is good”.
“He has being advising we young politician. He is an embodiment of knowledge when it comes to ideas of politics and governance. I have consulted him several times for proper opinion and counseling. He lived a life worthy of emulation.
Member representing Nnewi North constituency Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor in his tribute to Mbazulike Amaechi described him as a great man, an ‘Icon’ and a legend. He prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the lost.
The Speaker Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor consoled the family of late Mbazulike Amaechi stating that he is a man who has always being articulate, filled with wisdom and has been soo supportive in the development of Anambra state and Nigeria as a whole. He prayed that the good lord will accept his soul.
