Thugs broke into the Port Harcourt residence of Senator Leah Meaba, a strong supporter of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Thursday, destroying some vehicles.
An eyewitness told ANN that the thugs armed with dangerous weapons attacked the elder brother of Meaba who resides in the building located in Port Harcourt.
Meaba fell out with Governor Nyesom Wike after the governor distanced himself from the campaign of Atiku.
The Rivers State Government had revoked the Certificate of Occupancy of land allocated to the former Senator at the Golf Course axis of GRA in Port Harcourt.
Maeba is the chairman of the PDP presidential campaign council in Rivers State.
