Soludo not God, Obi the hope of Nigeria – Fr Ebube Muonso says as thousands welcomes Peter Obi at Crossover night

UKE (ANN) The Spiritual Director of Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Anambra State, Rev. Fr Chibuzo Emmanuel Obimma popularly known as Fr Ebube Monso has openly endorsed Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi on his adoration ground on the 31st night, 2022, ANN reports.

The 42 years old Catholic leader in Anambra State welcomed Peter Obi to his ark, as the ministry is called, at about 30 minutes to crossover hour to 2023.

Mr Obi was accompanied by numerous Catholic youths who escorted him to the altar.

While being cheered by thousands, the LP Candidate wished every adorers a great year and wished Nigeria will be “whole again”. He noted that it’s not by his power but by God’s power to give one the ability to rule. Obi recall that he is a member of the adorers and that he’s always part of the family.

After Peter Obi’s short comment, ANN Correspondent observed that Fr Ebube Monso took on the mic to declare Peter Obi as the “only hope of Nigeria, not because he’s an Igbo man but base on capacity, competency, credibility, integrity”. He added “Peter Obi is the one God has appointed to help this nation” and that “he who have ears let him hear”.

Fr Ebube Monso went on to blast the governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Soludo on his consistent attacks on Peter Obi; he highlighted an instance of when Gov Charles Soludo noted on his previous article titled HISTORY BECKONS AND I’LL NOT BE SILENT. The governor opined that “Peter Obi can’t win election“.

He recalled that if not of God, Gov Soludo wouldn’t have been governor of Anambra State. He said that “it is not because Soludo has any chance of winning the [Gubernatorial] election but it’s because of Arch. Bishop Valerian Okeke told several other priests to pray for Soludo to get the governorship seat. And that’s why it’s said in the bible that anything or anyone God’s anointed has put in place, no one can put asunder.”

He also fumed at the “foul” play the two heavyweight political parties, All Progressive Congress (APC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been playing on the “Igbo Presidency”. Part of the video reads “I want to beg Igbos; this is the chance we have. If we mess this opportunity… forget those Igbos [referring to Chief Arthur Eze] promising you Igbo Presidency after 4 years or 8 years. Fou…fou…foul!”

He said that they have been making these promises from time in memorial. He encouraged the members of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry to be courageous and get their PVC and vote for Labour Party.
