Aloy Ejimakor, the lawyer of the detained leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has disclosed that many Igbo leaders are among the many on queue to see the detained IPOB leader.
Ejimakor made this disclosure in a telephone conversation with Angel Network News. However, he maintained that the restrictive nature of DSS facility has been a hindrance to arranging for a meeting with those eager to meet with his client.
He remarked that transferring the IPOB leader to a normal prison facility would expedite his meeting with those who would want to meet with him.
According to Ejimakor, such social interaction would also help the separatist leader to recover from the inhuman treatments and torture he suffered in the hand of Kenyan authorities.
Ejimakor in this regard, revealed that preparations are underway to arrange for a meeting between Kanu and members of his family.
