Read What Led To The Arrest Of The Former Nigerian Minister, Fani Kayode’s Ex-wife, Precious ~ Reports

Precious Chikwendu, a former beauty queen and estranged wife of Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation, has been arrested and held by police in the Federal Capital Territory, according to reports.

Precious was detained after accepting an invitation from the Force CID, Area 10 in Abuja, according to a human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, in a Facebook post on Wednesday nights.

According to the police invitation letter seen by Angel Network News Fani-Kayode was accused of criminal intimidation, blackmail, deflation of character, and malicious publishing against his ex-wife.

According to Gwamnishu, “Precious Chikwendu told me this morning that she would accept the Police offer. I promptly followed up with Tracy Mcwary to ensure she received all required support.

“Femi Fani-Kayode, who has continued to refuse her access to her children, has had her held by police. Those of you who say “back off,” please understand that Precious is my friend, and Harrison will not back down.

Precious accused Fani-Kayode and a close friend of his, Senator Grace Bent, of using the police to threaten her in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

A photo of a letter from the police summoning her to be questioned at the Force Criminal Investigation Department Abuja was also released by the former beauty queen.

“Do you think these two would use the police that are supposed to protect us all to intimidate me?” Jokers. If it weren’t for my children, Mr Fani-Kayode and Grace Bent would tell me what this show of power is all about. You would sit with my lawyers and sort things out if you had any shame. “It’s a shame we ended up on this bridge,” she lamented.

Following their split in August 2020, Precious and the former Minister have been involved in a child custody fight.

Fani-Kayode accused her of adultery after a hat-trick of marriages before meeting Precious, with whom he had four sons, including a set of two-year-old triplets.

According to ANN, the former Minister began physically abusing Precious from the first year of their marriage, following in the footsteps of her three predecessors.

As time passed, it was discovered that the violence had intensified.

Precious was reported to have been instructed by FFK, as the ex-minister is known, to terminate her last pregnancy, saying it did not belong to him.

According to the sources, Precious disregarded him and was savagely beaten, even on her tummy, for her defiance.

According to a source, Fani-Kayode slapped the woman aggressively in front of their housekeepers and threatened her with a gun by jamming the firearm in her mouth to prevent her from squealing.

He would occasionally order his security to strike the former beauty queen.

Saratu Attah, Fani-first Kayode’s wife, whom he married when he was 22, was also often battered by him.

According to sources, the woman, the late Adamu Attah’s daughter, was savagely attacked for demanding a swimming pool for their property on Marine Road in Apapa, Lagos. FFK married Yemisi Odesanya, the daughter of a judge, in his next marriage. After remarrying, she is now known as Yemisi Wada.

In press interviews, the woman described Fani-cruelty Kayode’s and lack of concern for their daughters, which led to his exclusion from one of them, Temitope’s, wedding in 2014.

Despite his estrangement from the children, FFK never fails to express his “love” for them on their birthdays on Facebook.

Precious recently told the Abuja Court of Appeal that her ex-husband is incapable of caring for their four children.

Precious claimed that their oldest child had dropped out of school and that their triplets had yet to begin.

In her complaint before an Abuja High Court, the plaintiff claimed that Fani-Kayode “beat her up on multiple occasions even when she was pregnant” and demanded a monthly payment of N3.5 million for the upkeep of their four sons.
