* Governor Chukwuma Soludo has enjoined Ndi Anambra to lend a hand to the campaign for clean, green and livable Anambra State.
Governor Soludo, who made the appeal in Awka, said they can do that by always cleaning up their surroundings and paying adequate attention to their environment.
Represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, the governor emphasized that the state government is committed to achieving the dream of clean, green and planned environment.
* The Town Union Presidents in Dunukofia unanimously endorsed APGA candidate Hon Chuks Azotani for State House of Assembly, Dunukofia Constituency. In their communique they enthused that Hon Azotani has demonstrated a strong commitment to serving Dunukofia constituency, listening to their concerns, and working tirelessly to create positive change.
* Anambra Civil Society Network (ACSONET) a foremost platform for Citizens and Non State Actors stakeholders, has called for caution over allegations making the rounds that Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo was involved in a conspiracy to stop Peter Obi’s popularity and probably put him in harm’s way. Leader of the group, Prince Chris Azor in his reaction implored all well meaning Citizens and stakeholders, especially Ndi Anambra to be cautious with their utterances and apply decorum in responding to issues around the ongoing general election.
* The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Awka North and South at the just concluded general election, Chief Emeka Igwe has expressed gratitude to his supporters and party faithfuls for their support. Chief Igwe in an appreciation message in his social media page wrote “I would like to take the time to show gratitude and appreciation for everyone who played a positive role in my political campaign. I want to thank all the donors who volunteered time and/or resources to support me at this period. The bonds I’ve forged with so many of you in Awka North and South is the best part of it all.
* The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD has asphalted Agbomi/Gozie Akudolu road in Nnobi, Idemili South LGA of Anambra State.
Supervising the project, Ekwunife thanked the community for their support in 2019, adding that the road was one of her campaign promises to the community and expressed joy that the project is heading towards completion. The Federal Lawmaker added that the road when completed will enhance economic development in the community. She highlighted that her efforts in attracting road projects in the zone is due to her passion for development and service to the people of the zone.
* The leader of Ndigbo in Asia, HRH Eze Amb Jerome Ezeneche (King of Six Nations) has congratulated Senator Ifeanyi Uba, representing Anambra South senatorial District and Hon. Paschal Agbodike, deputy speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly on their well deserved Victory at the just concluded polls. Senator Ubah won re-election to represent Anambra south senatorial District for a second term, while Hon. Paschal Agbodike won election to represent Ihiala local government Area at the house of representatives. In a statement, the Igbo leader urged the Legislators to see this opportunity as a call to continue to serve and a further confirmation of people’s unalloyed belief in their quality representation.
* The Transition Committee Chairman for Dunukofia Local government area, Mr. Augustine Onyemaobi says the spectacular achievements of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in less than one year in office will guarantee resounding victory for the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the forthcoming House of Assembly election in the state. Mr. Onyemaobi gave the assurance while speaking to journalists in Awka.
The Local government Chairman who commended Governor Soludo for awarding the construction of Igwe Ezechi Okoye- Ukpomili-Nkwo Ifitedunu road and for appointing some indigenes of Dunukofia into his government, said that it will aid victory for APGA in the area on Saturday’s State House of Assembly election.
* Anambra State APGA Deputy Chairman, Chief Tony Elee, has advised Ndi Anambra to shun monetary inducement as the 2023 governorship and state assembly elections draw closer. Chief Elee, who gave the advice in Awka, condemned monetary inducement in its entirety, explaining that the situation where eligible voter sells his or her vote to the highest bidder is highly detrimental to the future of the country. He cautioned political parties and individuals that engage in vote buying and other inducement to retrace their steps to enable the electorate vote wisely.
* Construction work has commenced on the six point four kilometers Nnokwa-Adazi Enu-Akwaeze Road, recently flagged off by Governor Chukwuma Soludo. Governor Soludo during the flag off, noted that the road is strategic for economic growth and development of the area. Heavy duty equipment from the construction firm handling the project, were already on ground bulldozing and doing excavation, sand filling and leveling up.
* The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim has described the All progressives Grand Alliance as a political party with a clear vision. Speaking to newsmen in Awka, Dr Ibezim said that the All progressives Grand Alliance has through its leadership style brought even development to the people of the State. He maintained that the administration of Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has continued to embark on quality projects especially roads which are aimed at improving the living standards of the people.
