The managing Director Anambra Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA) Mr. Osita Onuko says there must be sacrifices for any society to be better.
Mr. Onuko in an interview after appearing before Anambra assembly committees on Finance and Appropration Chaired by Hon. Ejike Okechukwu and Committee on lands, survey and town planning chaired by Hon Jude Akpua, during the budget defense and bilateral discussion, said the agency will perform better next year 2024.
According to the ACTDA boss, “what ever we have done this year (2023), we will double it and do more.Â
“We will bring more value to ndi Anambra at the grassroot through the tax payers money.Â
” For every society that has developed and wants to develop, sacrifices must be made. Nobody takes joy in demolishing properties but after many consideration, we can’t do without effecting them.Â
” If you go to Unizik junction towards Okpunu and Isuanacha, you will notice the difference.Â
” When we started those demolitions, people were crying but we told them that at the long run, the value of their properties will increase and thats what happened .
“The aim is in line with the mission and vision of Governor Chukwuma Soludo which is building a livable and prosperous homeland for ndi Anambra”. Onuko declared
