Adesua Etomi, a well-known actress in Nigeria, has expressed her concerns about her husband, Banky W, pursuing his political ambitions.
In a recent interview, the movie star expressed her concern over Banky W’s desire to enter politics.
She continued by saying that her concerns vanished as soon as she understood that he is pursuing something bigger.
“When Banky said he was going to go into politics, I was a little bit worried,” she said.
“I spoke about this many times before but I also believe that purpose is more important than fear.
“I want to see him prove purpose, so he has my support 100 percent.”
ANN recall that the musician entered politics in 2019. Under the Modern Democratic Party, he ran for representative of the Eti-Osa federal constituency in the house (MDP).
He was defeated at the time by Babajide Obanikoro, the All Progressive Congress candidate (APC).
Banky W refused to give in and switched to the People’s Democratic Party from the MDP (PDP).
Prior to this month’s general election, he ran for and won the party’s Eti-Osa federal constituency primary ticket there.
The politician revealed in June 2020 that the year he entered politics was terrible for his marriage to Adesua.
