The Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, (South East Zone), Comrade Eze Adiuku, has commended members of Anambra State Council for their conduct during the 2025 Council election held at the Ezemo International Press Center, Awka.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Adiuku who represented the NUJ National Secretariat in supervising the election, praised the peaceful conduct of the election and congratulated the re-elected Council Chairman, Dr. Odogwu Emeka Odogwu and all the new executives.
The Zonal Secretary further charged Union members to unite and provide full support to the newly elected leadership, reinforcing the importance of cooperation in advancing the Union’s interests.
Comrade Adiuku lauded the Credentials Committee headed by Dr. Stanley Onunkwor for carrying out the assignment with dedication, stating that at the appropriate time, the Odogwu led executive will organise a by-election to fill the other vacant positions in the State Working Committee (SWC).
